World Water Day-22 March 2017

30 March 2017

World Water Day is celebrated across the globe on 22nd March every year with a unique theme around tackling water crisis. Today, 1.8 billion people use a source of drinking water contaminated with faeces, putting them at risk of contracting cholera, dysentery, typhoid and polio. Providing clean drinking water to all is not only one of sustainable development goals but is also directly linked with prevention of malnutrition.
