Action Against Hunger, since its inception in 1979, has led the global fight against hunger and malnutrition in over 50 countries. We began our operations in India in 2012 and work from the grassroots upwards focusing on taking decisive action against the causes and effects of malnutrition. We currently work in partnership with State Governments on preventing and treating malnutrion through the first 1000 days of life approach in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. With operations in 577 villages and 3 slum pockets in Mumbai, Action Against Hunger had been working with vulnerable communities and local administrations to provide psychosocial support, hygiene kits, dry rations and awareness on Covid-19.
